lyrics

Coming Home for Chirstmas
The spirits lifts,
Across the Gardens of Stone.
As Christmas gifts,
Set beneath trees at home.
A gentle wind guides the way,
For them to go by.
It is almost Christmas Day,
There are tears to dry.

Home, across gardens made of stone
Everybody’s come home
Now the family is whole
Coming home for Christmas
Sharing love and laughter from beyond

In a home they know well,
They are remembering them.
The stories of happiness tell,
Their light to never dim.
There is a place at the table,
Where no one seen will set.
No one there is yet able,
To fill that chair yet.

Home, across gardens made of stone
Everybody’s come home
Now the family is whole
Coming home for Christmas
Sharing love and laughter from beyond

The spirit lingers lovingly,
But not for very long.
Still their family can feel the presence,
As if they were not gone.
The Spirit drifts away,
Back to duty in the garden of Stone,
For it was Christmas Day,
When all soldiers visit home.
